Step 1: Locate hole
Locate the hole, should be easy!
Step 2: Tunnel direction
Find the direction of the tunnel
Step 2: Widen hole
Widen the hole with a small shovel - about 3"-4" or just enough to fit the jaws of the trap
Step 3: Clean hole
Scoop any excess dirt from within the hole
Step 4: Insert trap
Gently insert trap in hole
Step 5: Cover hole
Cover the trap and hole with dirt (cover with 5 gal bucket if you have kids or pets)
Step 6: Check trap
Keep checking the trap, it may take 15 minutes, or overnight
Final Step: Empty trap
Empty the trap by opening the jaws and leaving the rodent in the hole
