Gopher vs Mole
Our traps come in 2 sizes, Gopher (large) and Mole (small). Gophers not only wreak havoc on your yard, they can chew the roots of trees and plants, hence possibly killing landscape and vegetation. Here you will learn ow to detect and identify the differences, ensuring you buy the correct sized trap.
The size difference between Gophers and Moles
Gopher
Larger jaws - 2 7/8"
Gophers create a crescent U shaped mound. You will most likely see the hole (that is plugged up) and they will plug it up once they are done feeding . An adult gopher can control a territory up to 1500-2000'.

Mole
Smaller jaws - 2 1/8"
Moles create a mound similar to a volcano (conical), they push dirt straight up. Usually if you see dirt clods near the hole it will be from a Mole.
